Industrial structures need special attention in Vaastu analysis. In an industrial environment, the human potential is exploited to its maximum level - with leadership function, research activity are also to be performed in factories. This balancing act needs a perfect understanding of contribution of each of the Vaastu directions to the overall industrial space.
Factory premises should be square or rectangle (1:2) proportion is preferable for the Northwest and South West corners.

Main entrance should be in the East or North. It should never be in the South -West. West entrance is ok.
Raw materials, storeroom, Waste material etc. should be in the South-West corner.
In the West main office, Laboratory, Administrative office can be arranged. Servant quarters may be in the North West corner.

Water source should be in the Northeast. The overhead tank should be in the South-West or North West.
The level of the plot should be low in the North east. Boiler, Fire and electrical items should be in the South-East corner.
Finished goods should be kept in the North-West corner. Delivery should be given from a door in the North side.
Heavy Machinery should be in the South side and lighter machines can be installed in the North side.
